Watercolor Painting Opportunity: Mondays at 1:30 p.m. at the Center. Do you have an interest in water coloring? It takes space, inspiration and motivation, and we can help. Join our friendly group of painters with our new instructor, Kathleen Schungel, a retired art teacher of Cumberland Valley School District and a Big Spring resident. The cost is $1/week to the Big Spring Senior Center and $5/week to the instructor. Also, offered during this period is Adult Water Coloring.
Crafts: Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the Center. We could use your help, hands and ideas.
Bible Study: Every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Center. Come and join the conversation! In February and March Pastor Don Snyder from Doubling Gap Church of God will lead the study. The topic will be "A Holy Week Walk with Jesus," looking at passages from all four Gospels, focusing on the life of Jesus and His disciples from just before Palm Sunday through Resurrection Sunday. Focus verses are from John 20:30-31. Drop-ins are welcome. Games at the Senior Center: Lots of opportunities to play cards and games can be found at the Senior Center. On Thursday at 9:30 a.m., we play 500 with a dedicated group of card players, and we always welcome new players. Come play board games with Bob Ballard, our leader. Don't ever consider playing games as frivolous; studies show that it stimulates your brain, which helps counter the aging process.
